As interesting as real estate is, we would be remiss if we didn’t mention Ukraine. Many of our friends and family members are looking for ways to support Ukrainian people on the ground rather than through a large NGO. Our friend and fellow real estate investor Roman Malantchouk started the Friends of Chervonohrad relief effort to deliver goods like baby formula, bedding, medicine, and food to the Ukrainian families hosting refugees and the refugees themselves in the town of Chervonohrad in western Ukraine. They’re receiving many men, women, and children fleeing the Russian hostility in the east and are stretched very thin resource-wise. Please, if you were wondering how you can help and want to know that your money is getting to the people who need it, consider donating to this effort. The people of Ukraine are experiencing the worst of human atrocities right now, so a small bit of support from those who share their values (freedom, democracy, self-determination) in the West goes a long way.

Note: All contributions go directly to the Chervonohrad community. Friends of Chervonohrad are in frequent and direct communication with members of the community, which allows them to provide support for their immediate needs. They are providing food, transportation, housing, and medical supplies and more amidst very challenging logistical obstacles. |
