A Helping Hand

Gonzalo met Gilbert Ervin, a long-time upholstery maker and resident of Chester, SC, as he was attempting to sell his mom’s industrial sewing machines on Facebook Marketplace. As Gonzalo came to know Gilbert, he learned about the hard times that have befallen him. Recently, his house and workshop completely burned to the ground and he unfortunately didn’t have insurance to be able to recover those losses. Being that Gilbert makes his income from upholstering clothes and materials, his entire livelihood burned down in those flames. Gonzalo and his wife put together a GoFundMe page (below link) to raise money to help Gilbert buy an RV to put on his property as he rebuilds his workshop. If you are willing and able to donate to help Gilbert get back on his feet, feel free to use this LINK to connect to the GoFundMe page that Gonzalo set up for him. As we provide these funds to Gilbert toward his RV, we’ll provide updates and videos. As we always say at MCP, be kind, be charitable, and invest wisely!
